Just for fun - 1 syllable boys names
I have a son named Clark, and if I were to have another son I would like to name him Dean (if I can get DH on board). So it appears I like surnames-turned-given names that are 1 syllable for boys.
What other names can you come up with that fit that criteria?
Bonus points if your name idea has educational and/or ecclesiastical connotations (even if it's a stretch)!

Some totally random ones:
Brett
Brent
Beau
Kent
Keith
Joss
Burt (I mean, yes it's an old name, but still!)
Howe/ Howey
Loius/ Lewis
Finn
Colt
Lyle (ditto as Burt)
Van
Vaughn
Gray/ Grey
Lee/ Leigh/ Li
That's all I've got tonight!
I really like Kent but would never use it (Clark and Kent... yea...)
My grandpa was Albert who went by Bert so hey, I can definitely see that one!
Really like Beau - it's on my short list for (hypothetical) future babies
I've always liked Gray/Grey, but with the whole "50 Shades" thing I wouldn't use it anytime soon
Just came across the idea of Vaughn as a FN earlier tonight and really like it, but then again I was a huge Alias fan so perhaps that's not terribly surprising
Great list! Anyone have more ideas?
Zane, Grant, Gage, Graham, Joe, Jay, Jack, Jase/Jayce, Mac, Max, Pete, Jim, Blake, Trent, Phil, Zeke, Clint, Stan, Trey, Cliff, Rhett, Reid, Ty, Wes... That's all I got for now. :)
I really like Graham. I'm trying to think of surnames-turned first names.
