Mom on Cafe Mom shared her kids names (all 8 of them)

Mckendrianna    14 F

Kennisten         11 M

Khaleighan         9 F

Kabella              6 F

Bryerson           4 M

Zaidensen         3 M

Cashton            2 M

Kenzington        1 F

Some interesting blends of parts of names.    My least favs are Kennisten (if not pronounced clearly sounds like one of the "stan countries) and Kabella (named after Cabella's?).  This style of combingin pieces of other names to create new ones is not my style but definitely increasing the pool of available names!  :)

Um... Wow.

My first thought when I read Kennisten was Canesten, which I knew was a medication but couldn't remember what it was for. Looking it up and seeing that it's for yeast infections makes it that much worse. At least the similarity is aural and not visual, and the child is male...

Blimey, full marks for inventiveness.  The one I'm least sold on is Khaleighan, assuming it rhymes with "alien", for that reason!

These names aren't my style, but the only one that really bugs me is Khaleighan - I assume it's meant to be pronounced like Kaylee-Ann, but that spelling really trips me up, multiple times. Kabella does make me think of the store, but I probably wouldn't have had that immediate association a few years ago before I moved relatively near one; otherwise, it just fits in with all the -bella names of the moment. I'd have assumed Kenzington was a boy, especially in the context of the other names, and I do find it very very close to Kennisten so not the most practical choice. The mix of -sen and -son, -ten and -ton endings is also interesting and makes me wonder if some or all of the boys' names are family surnames. And/or Dad or someone else important must be named Ken.

What really makes me think "Wow" though is trying to imagine having 8 kids! Those must be busy parents!

That is one mighty sibset!

Totally not my style but full points for creativeness. Some of the spellings make my eyes hurt a little and I'm not clear on some of the pronunciations.  Imagine yelling all of those across a playground!

I think Kabella is growing on me!  YIKES!  :)

I can't even with this sibset. It's just such an antithesis to my personal taste that I can barely believe it's real. I'm sure Cafe Mom would hate the names I like, though.
