Sibling name search

Hi there.

I am expecting child nr. 3 in December and we are so unsure about the name. Our older two are Nora and Ruben, and it is going to be another girl.

Names we like: Fiona, Iris, Beatrice, Georgia/Georgina, Josephine, Leona, Freya

It needs to be a name that is pronounced easily in English and German and can't contain too many "ee" sounds, especially at the end (Like Amy, Zoe,...) because that would clash with the surname.

Thanks in advance for any input!

The shared "or" sound in Georgia/Georgina & Nora is a bit too much for me, but your other names are all lovely and work well with Ruben & Nora.  I think my favorites are probably Fiona and Iris.

Since you want to avoid too many "ee" sounds at the end, you might want to eliminate Beatrice.  If you are around a lot of chronic nicknamers, there's a good chance she'll end up as Bea.

I'll suggest Stella, Julia, Alice & Claire/Clara

I like Fiona, Iris, and Freya.

My suggestions are Eloise, Delilah, Elsa, Elvira, Isla, Lena, Vera, and my favorite: Greta.

I think any of these would make a gorgeous sibset! :)

Iris, Beatrice and Freya are my favourites from your list - they give each of your children names with distinct sounds, while being familiar but uncommon, and it doesn't hurt that they're on my own long list, so obviously I think they're lovely! I also like the above suggestions of Alice, Greta and Clara.

Personally, I like Freya best as part of the sib set because it is two syllables like both brother and sister, and ends in -a like sister. :) Also, from my limited knowledge of German, it seems that Freya would transfer between languages better than Georgia or Josephine. Leona and Fiona seem to be good options for both languages as well. (As I said though, my knowledge of German is limited, so take that with a grain of salt...)

And I should clarify: I think Freya flows well with Nora and Ruben, but isn't "matchy" at all despite the commonalities.

I love all your ideas, especially Iris, Freya, Leona and Josephine. I have a lot of family in Germany and have heard them butcher the names of most of my non-German friends, so I understand your struggle!

Some other suggestions might be:

Frida, Carla, Annika, Marie, Julie, Lina, Ida, Nina, Laurel, Helena, Esther, Irene, Matilda, Emma, Mia, Eliza, Adelaide, Mara, Sylvie, Etta, Sabine, Eva, Lois, Suzanna, Cleo, Phoebe, Carina, Melanie, Martha, Heidi, Calista, Lottie, Zara, Anita, Connie, Tamara, Willa, Celina, Mona, Tess, Hannah, Della, Vera, Lana, Avis

Leona sounds wonderful! And Iris is always one of my favorites.
