Any ideas for boy and girl sibling names that go well with Graham? Last name is Adams.

Thank you for the list. A lot of these are close family/friend names that we might consider for middle names, but would not want to repeat as first names for that reason.  I guess that's our biggest problem.  Every time we've ever liked a name, it's been used by someone too close to want to duplicate it.  Leaves us feeling a little uninspired, which is how I ended up here looking for suggestions and inspiration. I guess we're just looking for that perfect something that has that simple, timeless feel, the same way Graham feels to us.

Do you have any favorites? Any names you don't want to use? What does your list look like so far? It helps to know where to start :)

If you are looking for names with similar popularity/style, you can use the Name Matchmaker tool to see what would be suggested for a sibling of Graham.

More seriously - we need more to go on than "goes with Graham."  I grew up on the corner of streets called Franklin and Graham, so there's my association.  The question is: what are YOU looking for?

Thank you everyone! I really like some of these ideas. We’ve actually considered Colin, Malcolm, William/Liam, and some form of Ben for boys names in the past. But I also really like names like Franklin (not sure I like the idea of it inevitably getting shortened to Frank though), Beckett, Henry, Miles, Nathan and Jack. And we've also considered Clint and Lane more recently.

For girls, we‘ve considered Eileen and Elise, but more for middle names. At some point or another we liked/talked about Maren, Kinley, and Brynn as well. But we’ve just never fallen in love with any of these names (boys or girls) together or fully in the way we did with Graham.

To answer the poster's question above, I guess we tend to like names that are more simple and traditional with a timeless feel for boys at least. For girls it’s a little all over the place. We never seem to be able to agree on girls names. I actually kind of enjoy surnames that work well as first names, but haven’t found one that I like as much as Graham either.  Anyway, thanks again for the suggestions so far.  Hope this helps narrow down what we might be looking for to help make more suggestions.

So I noticed something really wonky going on with your posts; I "turned on" this first reply, and "turned off" the other threaded one, just so the flow would make sense. If you liked the other version better, though, let me know and I (or another mod) can copy it over for you.

I just went through the multiple repeat posts and submitted them as ham (obviously the opposite of spam) and then unpublished them again. I was just worried that repeatedly submitting this poster's comments as spam might get the account triggered and cause future problems. (We can unpublish without submitting as spam.)

I have a nephew named Benton and I've always liked that.  They call him Ben and it's completely recognizable but just a little different from Benjamin.

I love Graham. Other names I like that I think are similar are Owen, Camden, Austin, Jack, Henry/Hank, Noah.  Girls Avery, Olivia, Sophie, Baker. I know everyone has a little bit different taste but in case there is any overlap! We are pretty set on Avery for a girl but still mulling over boy names.

Graham is one of the few names that my husband has ever proposed unprompted, so I will share a few others of his favorites for boys. Maybe one will resonate with you, too!
