Traditional with the first, fun with the middle!

My husband and I are due in May with our first and would love any opinions/suggestions.

We don't know what we're having and were originally pretty set on Charlotte for a girl and James for a boy. I've said I wanted to keep our options open for the girl, but still love Charlotte. Its a little popular for my taste but I think it's a good solid name that will serve her well. James is pretty set in stone. Now, here's the fun part....the middle names! I want to add some personality and life into the middle, while my husband is a little more traditional. He's not opposed to suggestions though and if I REALLY loved a name I think I could talk him into it. I guess my style for middle names is a little...hipster? Anyways, I'll just throw out what we've thought about and please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you!

To maybe (?) understand our style better our dog is Henry, cat is Olive.

Wow, can I just say that each of those combos are amazing? :) I love "fun" middles with traditional FNs. Beautiful names...

My favorites are Charlotte Everly, Matilda Winter (and I don't usually like Matilda), James Brooks, and James Oscar (really liking Oscar right now)...

Oh, I forgot one that my husband is really into. I just can't wrap my brain around it. My mothers maiden name is Stevens. He loves the idea of using the middle names Stevie as an ode to that.

Charlotte Stevie Dixon

i just don't know! And opinions?

It's just me, but I would prefer Charlotte Stevens Dixon, Southern style.

I really like Charlotte Winter Dixon. I think it is very pretty sounding. My next favourite would be Charlotte Everly Dixon. Not fond of the others.

I also like Violet Marais Dixon and Isla Juniper Dixon.

Have you considered other names such as Spring, Summer and Autumn? Or other flowers names such as Willow, Zinnia, Jasmine, Rose, Amaryllis.

You may also like Gemma, Opal, Crystal, Amber, Ruby, Jade, Pearl, Jet or maybe Jasper? More unusual gem names could be Amethyst, Emerald, Topaz and Diamond.

Or what about combining names you already have such as...

Charlotte Violet, Charlotte Hazel, Charlotte Isla, Charlotte Juniper and Charlotte Marais.

Also what about Violet Isla, Violet Winter.

Evangeline Winter, Evangeline Marais, Evangeline Hazel or Evangeline Everly I quite as well.

Isla Marais, Isla Winter, Isla Everly as well are nice.
