Twins due in three weeks & no names!!!

We are expecting baby number 5 and 6 (I know!!) in just three weeks and are really struggling with names!! We are expecting a boy and a girl and already have 4 girls, Anais 14, Rhea 11, Faith 8 and Tillie 6. We really like the name Jayden for the boy and are in need of a girl name to go with, but we are still open to any suggestions for both boy and girl!

Hm...this one is difficult! To me it feels a little like your taste in boy-names is different from your taste in girl-names, but it's hard to tell with only Jayden to go on.

What about Cleo, or maybe Scarlett?

I noticed how the four girls' names all begin and end with different sounds. Finding a fifth ending could help narrow down your choices.

You currently have -s. -a, -th, -ie (and beginning with A, R, F, and T). I didn't include anything with a -ce or -y, since those sound like endings you've used.

Other endings include:

-n, which could be taken by Jayden (which really highlights how people can have totally different taste in boys' names and girls' names), but doesn't necessarily need to be (Gwen, Imogen, Saffron, Wren)

-t (Scarlett, Violet, Colette, Bridget)

-l (Mabel, Laurel, Pearl, Coral)

-d (Maud, Winifred, Ingrid)

-o (Cleo, Willow, Margo(t), Juno)

I agree that you seem to have very different taste in girl names vs. boy names.  For girls, your style tends to lean more traditional/exotic traditional with maybe a pinch of "fusty."  While Jayden is more modern/bell-tone in style.

To match the style of your daughter's names, I'd suggest Violet, Esme, Mina, Ruby, Willa or Cleo for a girl.  For boys, I'd look more along the lines of names like Jasper, Jude, Abram, Milo, Miles, or Eli.

To match the style of Jayden, I'd consider girl names such as Kyra, Riley, Harper, Avery, McKenzie or Kaylee.  Other boy names in that style include Hayden, Kyler, Dylan, Logan, or Finn.
