I've narrowed it down to Audrey and Colette from my list, (the main character's name starts with "El-" and the characters have some similarities that are noticible, I find, so I don't like the repeated sound between them.) I don't think Violet would fit so well anymore, either, so it's probably off, too, but not totally out -- at least not yet.

But suggestions are still welcome and encouraged.

Thank you to anyone who posts for this thread/any of my threads :)

From these two choices, I would pick Audrey, especially if the character is as strong as her brothers' names sound.  Colette sounds mincing and weak to me.

Then, just thinking, the "aud" from Audrey and the "ette" from Colette could form Claudette...Gavin, Gage, and Claudette.  What do you think?  I still like Audrey best of these.

I like Claudette, it's a nice idea. I'll think about it. :) I am definately leaning towards Audrey over Colette, too.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks, Donna Lee, for commenting & giving your oppinion.

But I've actually decided on something totally different. I've named their sister Juliette.

I know it doesn't sound very strong, but that's OK.

Juliette is great!   It's feminine without being weak (I'm not sure where I get the notion that 'Colette' is).
