Wyatt or Parker

My spouse and I have hit a wall with our baby boy name choices. We have it down to Wyatt or Parker but are having trouble making the final choice. So we have decided to ask for some unbiased outside help! So please help us out on your favorite choice between the 2. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Of the two, Wyatt is the one that's actually a given name; Parker is 100% occupational surname. (Yeah, I'm an old curmudgeon. I do not understand the appeal of naming your child "groundskeeper".)

I'm a curmudgeon too.  I don't actually like Wyatt, but I don't "get" surnames-as-first-names.

You don't say, but I get the impression the baby hasn't been born yet.  If you're torn between two choices, take them both to the hospital and wait to decide once you've met him.

Wyatt,  dont like Parker or the appeal of most er ending names,  it reminds me of Parka, also someone in a park or parking.

I prefer Wyatt, but also think that the surname could affect which sounds better. If you're concerned about privacy, can you give a stand-in surname? Something that starts with the same sound and has the same number of syllables or a hint of a famous person with the same surname or Plum-with-a-K?

(I wouldn't choose an occupation surname for my own child, but can see the appeal of some of them for other people's kids.)
