I've never thought of Atticus as pretentious, so I say go for it. The only association I have with it is a positive one, and that's Atticus Finch.

Aurelia Rose

Joseph Carlisle and Benjamin Alec

Arlo Anthony

Amelie Belle and Elias Marco

Thatcher James

Piper Alexandra and Isobel Mackenzie

Mia Carleigh

So Aurelia, Joseph, Benjamin, Arlo, Amelie, Elias, Thatcher, Piper, Isobel, and Mia

Aurelia is my favorite girl's name ever and it just has such a nice sound with Rose, as common a middle name as it is.

Joseph and Benjamin are traditional but awesome and they're cool with these stylish middle names Carlisle and Alec.

Arlo is different and nice. It's a great name and I like it, but not one of my top favorites, I just picked it because it sounds so good with Anthony.

Amelie Belle. Just gorgeous, girly, and classic without being boring. Elias is the epitome of cool, I think, especially paired with Marco.

Thatcher is an awesome surname that for some reason hasn't caught on yet. I hope it doesn't. James just sounds nice with it.

Piper is the best. THE BEST. I love it so much, and it's grounded with the regal Alexandra. Isobel is a great twist on the gorgeous but too popular Isabella along with Isabelle and Isabel. I know a lot of people hate Mackenzie, but it's my guilty pleasure name.

And finally Mia. Short, sweet, spunky, and beautiful. I have a penchant for -leigh names, and since I live near a Carleigh Lane, I love this spelling for the middle name.

In Response to Name vs Name - Girls

Lillian vs Elodie (I like both, but Elodie is so pretty)

Caroline vs Scarlett (For some reason I've always hated Caroline, and Scarlett is so cool)

Abigail vs Nora (Nora is destined to be 5 years old forever in my opinion)

Julia vs Isabella (One of my absolute favorite names, but I hate that it's so popular)

Delaney vs Bridget (I took the i out of Delainey because it's much better)

Grace vs Hope (Again, I like both, but Grace is too common)

Maisie vs Zoe (Zoe is just an awesome name)

Natalie vs Kennedy (I've loved Natalie for as long as I can remember)

Sophia vs Alivia (Sophia is so pretty but too popular, and I hate Olivia and all its spellings, I don't know why)

Clara vs Aria  (Trendy as it is, Aria is gorgeous)

Leah vs Keira (This was a hard one, but Keira is more unique)

Freya vs Amelie (Such a beautiful alternative to the overused Emily)

Emmeline vs Madelyn (Madelyn is one of my most hated names, so this one was easy, and I do like Emmeline)

Rosalie vs Evelyn (Rosalie is just so lovely, but I like Evelyn too, especially the nickname Evie)

Violet vs Noelle (I just like Violet better)

Aubrey vs Lydia (This one was really hard, but I picked Aubrey because Lydia still sounds a bit dated, but it's destined for a comeback)

Gabriella vs Chloe (Another hard one, but Chloe is too popular)

Blair vs Reed (I don't like Reed for a girl, so I went with Blair, which is a great name, it just sounds pretentious)

Bonnie vs Hollie (I know a young Bonnie and it is so nice on her, not old at all)

Matilda vs Georgia (Well I am from Georgia...)

Eleanor vs Aurora (Aurora is sososososo beautiful, a favorite of mine, and Eleanor is stuffy)

Willow vs Rowan (Both are nice, but Rowan is unexpected and beautiful)

Maeve vs Pearl (Pearl is so incredibly dated to me, so Maeve was the obvious choice)
