In Response to Brother sib set

Even though they have same initals, I really like Lucas and Levi. Also, Licas and Grady is really cute. :)

In Response to Maisie conundrum

Marcia, Marissa, and Marisol were some I found on the site. I think Marissa would be a good fit for a girl nicknamed Maisie. Then again, the nickname does not necessarily have to be derived from the FN. You could also make Maisie the MN, or just give your daughter an Ma/Mi name, and nickname her Maisie. :) By the way, how do you pronounce that? I always said Maze-ee, until I heard someone say Ma-cee...:)

I would take Mischa Malone over Molly Malone (the latter reminds me of a children's book character or something), and Maxton Malone over Max Malone (The Mighty Max Malone, lol).

Having an extended FN over a nickname relieves the alliteration. I have know someone with an alliterative name (both FN/LN start with same two letters, but the different syllables break the rhyme sounds up. 2-2 is a good FN/LN syllable match, though, so I wouldn't worry about it. Love Mischa by the way. :)

Wow, can I just say that each of those combos are amazing? :) I love "fun" middles with traditional FNs. Beautiful names...

My favorites are Charlotte Everly, Matilda Winter (and I don't usually like Matilda), James Brooks, and James Oscar (really liking Oscar right now)...

In Response to Which middle?

Lachlan. It sets the "boundaries" of each name for me, while Allan seems to flow with Pierce, sounding more like one name. :)

In Response to Eloise and Lewis?

They are "this" close to matching, but they don't. Not too matchy. :)

I've heard it pronounced Eh-frem (phonetics), and Ee-phrem. Personally, I pronounce it the same as you. :)

In Response to This or That??

Reece --- I love this name for a boy. I understand where your husband is coming from, because I say "rice" in my head when I see that spelling (but I still love it). Just pure affirmation on my part. :)

Corbin --- I knew a Corbin a few years ago, and I like the sound of the name. Cory is a great nickname, and I think you have a great choice.

I guess I wasn't too much help in terms of input, but I like Reece over Corbin, if that helps. :)

In Response to Sonni-Kate

I think the style works well with your two boys' names, and it has a cute sound. It sounds like a jingle saying the names together (Cash, Colt, and Sonni-Kate). :)

Some families have themes for their kids, and some don't. If you don't think there's a true "style" to the names, then maybe just going for the name you like best is the route to go. :)
