I like Kira the best. I think it's very cute.

I know a little girl names Makayla (Michayla), I'm not sure how it is spelled. It reminded me of a mash up of mckenna and lin,eh - similar sounds.

Great choice!  I love Sadie, and I agree that middle names aren't used often enough to be the deciding factor.  I think the names flow fine together. Congratulations!

In Response to Baby Girl Name

I've never heard of Jaina and I do think it could have pronunciation issues. I really like Erin Marie.

I love Amity as a middle name and I love Maeve and Rose the best. I really like Simon and Felix the best for the boys' names and love Merit as a middle name.

Paired together, I like the following sets.

Simon and Maeve

Felix and Maeve

Simon and Rose

Milo, Owen, Luca, Leo, or Miles.

I like the name Juliet but think that Julia is also a great choice with your other girls' names.

I love Phoebe and Juliet. Charlotte is really popular where I live and I've never been crazy about Caroline.

Thanks lucubratrix!  I've wanted to use a Gwen name for a long time, so this last one will probably be a boy! Haha

i also think the Gweneth spelling is probably going to be problematic, so I'll just eliminate that one.

Thank you! :)

This name has been suggested a lot. For some reason it's never grabbed me, but maybe I'll give it a second look and sit with it for a few days.

Thanks Elizabeth. :) I'm only about 6 weeks, so I'm waiting to do a post with all the names on my list. I got ahead of myself last time. But, this name is at the top and is the one to beat for me.

Im thinking if we use this name, Gwenyth should probably be the spelling since we will use Gwen as a nn.

Thank you both. This is helpful.  I just found out I'm pregnant with #3 and I have always loved the name Gwen. My husband has always said he'd only use it if we go with Gwendolyn or Gwyneth.  I don't like Gwendolyn as much, but the Paltrow association bothers me on Gwyneth. Also, Gwyneth seems like the more common spelling and I'd mostly be calling her Gwen.

In Response to I went with...

I was wondering if you had made a decision. It's a lovely name.

I like a lot of your names but with Avery I would choose Vivienne.  I actually think the spelling Vivian goes better with Avery. My next choice would be Marlo or  Clara.

In Response to Named into a corner!

I think you've been given two awesome choices: Skylark and Stella.

I prefer Skylar on its own, but to keep the tradition I think Skylark is nice. You could call her Sky or Skylar.

Because Starling has Star in her name and you call her that, Stella also seems like a perfect match and the middle daughter's name bridges all three names together.  Even though your intent when choosing Starling was to match a bird, that doesn't mean Star can't be viewed as a match for Stella.

I don't know much about music, but that definitely changes it for me.

I think Reed and Alto are the two best listed so far.

Grant, Hugh, Grayson, Colin, Rufus, or Simon. I'm not sure if these are top 100 names but seem on trend with the names you listed.
