Branson is also the name of a character on the show Downton Abbey. Tom Branson, to be precise, but he's referred to as Branson. Another positive pop culture reference for the name.
I am not planning on keeping my last name; it actually has no real connection to me (it was my mother's ex-husband's last name, a man who is not my father and I have never met). I'm looking forward to changing my last name to my someday husband's. I'm glad to hear you like Elsie and Isis! Thanks for the input =)
I would love to do that but I have the smallest family on the planet! Haha. I should find out more about my great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. I didn't know them nor do I know much about them but maybe learning about them will bring new meaning to my family history.I quite like Anne as a name in general, I just don't like what it represents in my life (most notably, the connection to my father). I agree I do need a middle name that's a bit tamer for balance! Thank you for your input!
Ooh that was fun. That's my birth year so I think I had it pretty easy; I just thought of my peers growing up. I got 115 before time ran out.
Yay! How fantastic Laura. I've been hoping for this feature for years. One quick suggestion I'd like to make is for the addition of an edit and possibly a delete button. Thanks!
There are soo many names that I can think of for most of these! This one was way harder than the first =) FUN!! Thanks, Laura.
Wow, this is exciting. I'm definitely interested.. I think I may have to see what others think before I sign up myself. I'm *close* to convinced that the extra features are worth the money but I'm only 90% there ;)
By the way, at the risk of sounding like a total suck up, I honestly appreciate the creative things you do on this site, Laura. There is no other baby name site on par with this one.
For those of you that helped with a sibling for

Update from my friend -
She does want to continue the rhyming tradition. Her favorite mns from the list I gave her are Estelle and Novelle.
She loves the names I suggested but also wants to see some more "out there" romantic names, as she puts it. Names along the lines of Valentina. I think she's been through all the "normal" names and wants some fresh ideas that are a little out there. She wants to go out with a bang ;)
Thanks again for your help! You gals (and guys?) are fabulous!
@ alr- LOL! Your DH is too funny. That's atrocious for a sweet little girl!
Thank you all for the suggestions so far. I'll run them by her and see what she thinks. I know she accidentally ended up with rhyming middle names for the first three, but I'm not entirely sure if she wants to continue the "tradition". This is her last baby so I think she should, but it's not up to me!
Yes, sorry for being unclear, the 4th is a girl.
Entirely off topic..
A friend has three amazing girls, complete with three amazing names.

And now has a fourth on the way. I'm working on some suggestions for her and would love your input :) You ladies WOW me every time!
My old neighbors were Jim and Amy, their son, a Jamie. Jamie would have worked for girl or boy... they moved away, but I sure wonder what they did or will do for a second child!
Totally off topic, but I was browsing the latest Land of Nod catalog and noticed that they had (presumably) twin boys names written on a wall: Matthew and Roger. That struck me as a very odd pairing.
