I like Josephine. I have a friend called Josephine and we call her Jo or Jojo if you preferred this over Josie.

Just curious but what is your original first and middle name?

In Response to Month or Day Names

I really do not like month or day names for names.

I really like Charlotte Winter Dixon. I think it is very pretty sounding. My next favourite would be Charlotte Everly Dixon. Not fond of the others.

I also like Violet Marais Dixon and Isla Juniper Dixon.

Have you considered other names such as Spring, Summer and Autumn? Or other flowers names such as Willow, Zinnia, Jasmine, Rose, Amaryllis.

You may also like Gemma, Opal, Crystal, Amber, Ruby, Jade, Pearl, Jet or maybe Jasper? More unusual gem names could be Amethyst, Emerald, Topaz and Diamond.

Or what about combining names you already have such as...

Charlotte Violet, Charlotte Hazel, Charlotte Isla, Charlotte Juniper and Charlotte Marais.

Also what about Violet Isla, Violet Winter.

Evangeline Winter, Evangeline Marais, Evangeline Hazel or Evangeline Everly I quite as well.

Isla Marais, Isla Winter, Isla Everly as well are nice.

In Response to Thoughts on Viola

I love, love the name Viola. Viola Rae to me sounds perfect for you. I also like Violet as well if you husband would prefer that. On some more research I have found Violeta or Violetta and Violette.

As for Rachel though I like the sound of the name I can not get past the meaning which is "ewe" or "young sheep". I agree that Rachel Rae is out of the question.

Do you have any other names in mind?

Some suggestions for you...

Charlotte

Eloise

Isabel/Isabelle or Isobel/Isobelle

Roseanne/Roseanna

Roxanne/Roxanna

Sophie/Sophia or Sofie or Sofia

Vivian or Vivienne

I really like the idea of pronouncing Isobel Iz-o-bel instead of Iz-ah-bel. Do you think this is ok to do or would it lead to confusion?

In Response to Identical triplets

To me Alissa maybe named after her Mum. Ava I like and Avery is ok.

I love the name Faye. Would you consider using it as a first name? To me it goes way better with her sibling names. Nature kind of inspired names it looks to me.

Dora on the other hand I dislike with a passion. Mostly due to the annoying cartoon Dora the Explorer.

I don't think it will be matchy. I think it would be nice to give your daughters a theme with their names such as all their names end in A, this would give them a connection to each other with their names without being matchy.

With her sister's names I think your best bet is a name ending in A plus it seems your preferences when it comes to names anyway end in A.

I also think another name which gives nickname potential is important since both your older girls have nicknames.

Out of the names you posted I like Louisa the best. You could use the nickname Loulou or just Lou. Sabina is ok but not sure what nickname you can use. Sabby springs to mind but to me Sabby is not nice sounding, maybe Bina or Ina instead? I do not really like the name Carolina. I do however I do love the name Lena.

Some suggestions for you...

Ekaterina nn Kate or Katie

Elena - nn Lena

Eleanora nn Ellie or Nora

Eloisa nn Elle, Ellie, Lou or Loulou

Isabella nn Izzy, Bella or even Belle

Leonora nn Nora

Lillia nn Lily

Livia nn Livi

Loretta nn Lora, Lori, or Retta

Lucia nn Lucy

Olivia nn Livi

Saskia nn Saskie or Kia

Serena nn Sere, Rena or even Reenie

Sophia nn Sophie

Victoria nn Vicky, Tori or Tora

Viola nn Vi

Well if Rapunzel had been a boy they were going to call him Aladdin. They are obsessed with anything Disney.

In Response to Eloise and Lewis?

As for being to similar I think it all depends on how you pronounce the names. I pronounce Eloise Eh-loh-eez. I pronounce Lewis Loo-is. With these pronouciations I think you can get away with using both names.

I really like Eloise. I really like the nickname Elle. Then again I like the nickname Elle for any girl name starting with El etc. The nickname Lulu or Lou is nice to but you can't really use those nicknames with Lewis.

In Response to Sonni-Kate

To me the name Sonny is a boys name no matter the way you spell it. I would use Sunny instead as it looks more like a girl to me. I like Kate though.
