In Response to Kaia

I think I'd agree... it seems like kaia is the "main" one I guess!

Hmm interesting. How popular do you think it'd 'feel'?

Honestly Chip and Crew go together... if they ever have another maybe they'll do a J name?

In Response to Theodora or Meredith?

Love Theodora of the two!

I'll throw in Tessa as well.

Of the two i prefer Chloe.

I know you didnt ask for suggestions, but perhaps something like Josie would be appealing - similer-ish to Joelle, but stylistically closer to her sisters?

In Response to Boy names

It sounds like you like last name sounding names and based on your husband's girl choices, he seems to prefer really traditional names. I'd say that if you go with a double name, a more traditional sounding name may be better as the second one, so it doesnt sound like someone's first and last name.

Do you like Rhett, Duke, Dylan or Gavin?

John, James, Mark, Sean?

For comprise names, what do you think of Jameson, Jackson or Julian?

I'll suggest Marshall David, Jameson Duke, Jennings William/ Able, or maybe Dylan Charles?  Scott?

As a nod to Dutch, could you pick a Dutch name? (Abe, Jef, Joep) <-- those are short, dutch names that may be good 'second' names?

Thanks Everyone - I couldn't reply on my phone, so needed to wait to get to a computer!

We find out boy/girl in a few weeks - which could make this dilemma non-existent if it's a boy:)

Our current list:

Elowen (i think i've been reassured this is a good contender)

Verity

Mairead

Waverly

Isla

Ivy

and still Ruby

I like a lot of the other recommended names, Araminta, Aurora, Auerila and Ambrosia, Ariadne all are awesome, but we decided to steer away from A names for this kid beacuse if we have a boy, the name will start with an A. May revisit the initial in the future though:) Also, some are just too close to my daughter's name (like Azalea)

I also love some others, such as Calla and Juniper, but my husband vetoes almost everything, haha.

In Response to Wallace or Woodrow

Love Wallace Grover the best!

Woodrow is cool and would be a nice name for a brother but Wallace Woodrow makes me think of Woodrow Wilson

Stylistically I like Ophelia. (And I love that song!) But can't get past the feel sound in the middle. Ariadne was on my last last time and I completely forgot about it! I like that and Araminta... wed have to brainstorm nicknames for that

Thanks for the suggestions! I like sage hazel AND olive, but unfortunately they either don't sounds great with our last name or are shares with a pet of a family member.

There are lots of great flower names, but I'm trying to avoid them for this baby as not to get stuck on a theme. Nature names are also a theme but i think it's more subtle and something id like to do of we can find a name we like.

Thanks for the responses!

I like Juniper a lot but my husband doesn't.

Pearl is something I hadn't considered and I also live the idea of something watery. Arden is cool and kinda reminds me of elowen in a way.

I like Elowen... I feel like we came to it so quickly that I need to explore other names before choosing that and I also worry that it doesn't match up (not in a matchy way but almost like too plain? Way with my other daughters name... it is the name you were thinking of)

We have Verify on the list and the other one that came to mind is Willow. I have the same concerns with that as I do with elowen.

We were thinking of using the name V3rity V3ron!ca - possibly. Not convinced V3rity is THE first name for us, but if we go with it, i want to use V3ron!ca as the middle - provided it's not the 'same' name - whcih it sounds like it's not!

In Response to Twin girl names

Lots of good suggestions already...  I'll  add/suggest  Lenore or Lenora   (or Leanora,  Leonore etc)  over Eleanor.  Would probably get rid of the Ellie nickname and would add an option of Lea(h)  as a nickname.  I also like Leona but it may be too close to Ramona for your liking:-)

Love Francesca!

I like Francesca Lucia best and  also like Francesca Aurora Sophie.

I know you said it needs to be one of the listed options,  but I think Francesca viola Lucia has a nice flow too.
